Talent vs. Career, a Case of Cassio Audi

We all have talents whether known or unknown to us. If you think you don’t have a talent, it is most probable that you don’t consider it as one. Sorry, that is a story for another day. With the phrase, “do something you love, and you will never have to work” well inscribed in our minds, we strive to find that thing we enjoy doing and still get paid for it. A host of factors determines our ability to utilize our talents into careers that will also provide for us. Some of these include an enabling social setting as well as own initiative.
Many people during their youthful years dream and vow to stick to their talents. However, certain realities of life tend to spur the change of tune. Some go into utilizing their natural skills only to withdraw later. One of such people is Cassio Audi, the accomplished investment manager.
Cassio Audi started off as a drummer for a heavy metal band. That sounds quite unbelievable! The band, which plays up to date, is known as Vipers. It was formed in 1985 by Audi and four other local youngsters. The group was very talented and gradually hit the international music scene. Audi was involved in the production of the demo songs as well as two albums.
He, however, left the group in 1989 to study business at the university. He has become a renowned investment specialist. Although talents may propel to your desired purpose in life, it is important to discern when to stick to your talent or pursue a different career. Different people have different paths in life. However, one thing may pass for a fact; you may apply your skills in any field or career you decide to pursue -the passion, enthusiasm, and hunger just to name a few.

Andrew Rolfe Assists African Children

The Ubuntu Fund recently hosted their 10th Annual Gala dinner. Thanks to their Chairman and longtime supporter Andrew Rolfe, the dinner was a huge success and their funding goal was reached. They raised over 900,000 dollars which will be used to support the new school district in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. That area is extremely overrun by crime and so many protests that most children are unable to go to school at all. The Ubuntu Fund also has goals to place a pediatric clinic on the campus so that the students are able to receive proper medical attention. They will soon be increasing in size so they are able to help even more students than they currently do.

There were several speakers that were invited to the Gala in order to share their stories of how the Ubuntu Fund helped them during their life. The most notable was Sinesipho Rabidyani, who was given a scholarship by the organization when she was just a small girl. At the time, she suffered daily under the hand of her father and this gave her the opportunity to escape into the world of academia. She is now attending law school and says she could not have done it without the support of the Ubuntu Fund.

Andrew Rolfe studied philosophy, politics, and economics at Oxford University and then went on to get his masters degree from the Harvard business school. After that, he went on to become the Director of Book Plc and the Pepsico Vice President Operations Europe, where he worked operationally all over the country. Fabletics is Coming to Town

If you haven’t heard of Fabletics, then you are missing out on some fun and interesting clothing. The business may have started online, but now it’s taking over the brick and mortar retail market.

Starting Online

Fabletics started online as a subscription service. The way the online portion of the company works is that you can set up a subscription to the service monthly and then you will get an outfit in your style choice every month. The advantages are many as you can forget about it once you start and just get the outfit for your monthly fee and not have to leave your home. You also can stop your subscription if you need to for as long as you need to. This makes it easy if you are unsure about if you are going to be home one month or if you are short on cash. The online set up became so popular, the company decided to bring the clothing to stores.

Storefronts

After starting online for a few years, the company decided to expand their company reach to brick and mortar stores in some of the largest cities in the US. Currently, you can only find Fabletics in New York or Los Angeles, but they are looking at expanding soon. When you go to a store you can try on the many styes they have and decide if they have something you want in a different style from your subscription. Then if you like the clothing, you can purchase it and take it home with you. This works great if you are already away from your home and you decide to stop in to get something before your next exercise class. You won’t have to wait for your shipment and you can still get the clothing you know and love.

There are a lot of exercise clothing options out there, but you don’t want just any clothing. You want Fabletics. They are high quality and comfortable. They also are great for any time of day or night to wear. What more do you need from your exercise clothing?

Dr. Cameron Clokie’s Pioneering Regenerative Medicine

Cameron Clokie, M.D. is a serial entrepreneur, surgeon and scientist. His medical specialty is regenerative medicine and bone reconstruction. Dr. Clokie is the holder of over 25 national and international patents related to bone healing. As a result, he has developed many strategic alliances and transfer his expertise into commercial enterprises.

Dr. Clokie was named the Head of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1998 and taught classes on the subjects until his academic retirement in 2017. He is also the CEO of Induce Biologics Inc., which is devoted to developing new solutions to musculoskeletal reconstruction.

Cameron Clokie reveals that one technique that was pioneered by Cameron Clokie was that of using adult stem cells to reset the jaw’s skeletal clock in order to coax the bones to re-grow after injury or after having to have the original surgically removed due to a tumor, etc.

Before Cameron Clokie’s stem cell innovation, those patients used to have to rely on painful cosmetic surgery which involved removing and replacing bone, fat and muscle from other parts of the body to re-fill the removal gap. Dr. Clokie presented on this at the U and T Conference for regenerative medicine in 2005 involving two patients receiving two different surgeries for their jaw replacements.

The first was aspiring singer, Janine McFarlane and another patient identified only as Mr. Russel. In both cases, a benign tumor swelled from the right side of their jaws. If left untreated, the tumor just continues to grow until it kills by choking. Learn more about Cameron Clokie: https://www.yellowpages.ca/bus/Ontario/Toronto/Dr-Cameron-Clokie/390278.html

McFarlane underwent a 19-hour surgery involving 12 centimeters of her shin tissue replacing her jaw tissue because her medical issue involved a joint. She reported that she could not walk for two months afterward.

Russel, on the contrary, underwent a four-hour surgery with a growth protein and a putty-like gel with barely a small scar left on his jaw. He reported that his only side effects were numbness in the chin and lower lip.

As Cameron Clokie says, regenerative medicine is currently in its infancy. However, the field has shown more hope in musculoskeletal regrowth than any other previous procedure.

When people think about marketing, among the things they think about is advertising. They thing about all of the banners that go up on websites and videos on television or on video sharing sites. However, there is another form of marketing that Logan Stout recommends for people. This form of marketing is called word of mouth. Logan Stout believes that word of mouth is still one of the best forms of marketing. Therefore, it is important that people tell one another about the product. Therefore, it is up to the distributor or marketer to tell people about the products and recommend them.

According to Amazon.com, other forms of marketing that could work for the business are reviews. When people write reviews on the company and the products being offered, they spread awareness about the product. When it is a good review, then the sales are going to increase. Therefore, one thing that Logan Stout of IDLife recommends is that people make sure that they practice good customer service so that they can make sure that the customers are satisfied with the product. One of the best things to do is make sure the customer is so satisfied that he has to talk about the product.
